Orthotics

Custom orthotics are anatomically molded, medical devices worn under the heel and arch of your foot to correct many skeletal abnormalities. Orthotics have been utilized to:

  • realign your feet to a natural “neutral” position to relieve foot, leg and back stress and any associated discomfort
  • increase endurance
  • restore proper balance
  • improve sports performance
  • alleviate foot fatigue

You may benefit from custom molded orthotics:

  • if you are required to be on your feet for extended periods of time
  • if you participate in any activity that places stress on your feet
  • if you have a flat or high arch (or family history of such conditions)
  • if you have misalignments, such as bow knees, knock knees, pigeon toes or duck feet
  • if you have foot pain, especially along your heel, arch or balls of your feet
  • if you have bunions or hammer toes
  • if you have hip, low back, knee or ankle pain
